Calculate a Belgrade taxi fare

Enter the distance manually or calculate the road distance between two addresses. The estimate uses a 320 RSD start charge, 105 RSD/km day tariff, 135 RSD/km night tariff and waiting at 1,800 RSD/hour.

1

Start charge

The calculation begins with the fixed 320 RSD start charge.

2

Distance

Kilometres travelled are multiplied by the selected tariff.

3

Waiting

Waiting time or slow-moving traffic is added when applicable.

The map distance is an estimate. The final amount is set by the taximeter and may be higher because of the actual route, slow traffic and waiting. Confirm out-of-town and fixed airport prices with your chosen company.

How the fare is calculated

What affects the metered fare in Belgrade?

The final meter fare has three components: the start charge (added as soon as you enter the vehicle), distance travelled at the applicable tariff, and waiting — charged proportionally during congestion and at traffic lights, not only when the vehicle stops at your request. The exact Belgrade amounts are in the table above.

The higher night tariff applies at night, on Sundays and public holidays — the kilometre costs more than under the day tariff. The out-of-town tariff of 210 RSD/km applies beyond the city boundary, so it is worth agreeing a fixed total for longer routes.

In practice, traffic and departure time matter most. During peak hours the meter adds waiting, so the same route can cost more than off-peak. For airport or intercity travel, agree a fixed fare in advance. The regulated tariff also applies when you hail a taxi on the street; see the list of taxi ranks in Belgrade.
